Bail Instructions

1. Know what jail defendant is located in.

County, city of federal facility?

What is the booking number (if possible)?

What is the charge(s)?

2. You must know the following:

Defendant's full legal name

Legal social security number

Date of birth

Current Address/Telephone Numbers

3. Check our map to find an agent near you.

The agent will ask questions about the personal history of the defendant. (Example - work history, previous arrests, time in current residence, etc.)

4. Know the correct bail amount.

J.E. Bonding, Inc. is required by law to collect 10% of the bail. This is known as the bail bond premium. You must pay this amount in full or arrange financing with the agent.

5. The proper collateral is required at the time of bail.

Examples are automobiles, watercrafts, all-terrain vehicles, mobile homes, property, jewelry, valuable household items, etc.
